I am a biology student from Aristotle university of Thessaloniki.
I was the winner of the Greek regional famelab competition in 2009 and I represented Greece in the Famelab international competition in Cheltenham science festival in the same year.
During the last two years, I have taken part in several events concerning science communication, most of them in collaboration with the British Council office in Thessaloniki and Athens.
Spiros's Profile
Dr Spiros Kitsinelis is a researcher focusing on the development of novel and energy efficient light sources. He gained his master's and PhD degrees in Chemistry from the University of Sheffield in England, for his research and development of pulse operated low pressure plasma light sources in the High Temperature Science Laboratories. He continued his research as a post-doctoral fellow at Ehime University in Japan in the department of electrical and electronic engineering.
