I have graduated from the Politehnica University in Bucharest after studying computer engineering. For two years I've been designing microchips for a Silicon Valley company. After a PhD from Surrey I am Royal Academy of Engineering Research Fellow, still at Surrey, working on flexible and transparent electronics. Travelling & photography is what I do when not designing tomorrow's technology.
