I am a PhD student studying chromatin, and epigenetic processes that control how genes are used in the cell.

My main research topic is based on how the packaging of DNA is remodelled in order for damaged DNA to be repaired. However I also adapt this research to look at how the packaging of DNA is used to turn genes on and off.

I have a general interest in the incredible workings of DNA and the processes that surround this molecule that is often taken for granted.
